About the Team

We are seeking an experienced data security engineer who thrives in a challenging environment, is passionate about technology security products! This position will work closely with the product infrastructure team to integrate security concerns into the overall DevSecOps strategy.

 Key Skills & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement security strategy
  • Test and evaluate 3rd party security technologies and tools
  • Design and maintain vulnerability and compliance management systems
  • Develop processes to ensure data classification, segmentation, and relevant security controls
  • Conduct manual and automatic static and dynamic security scans
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to address security vulnerabilities via 3rd party or custom-built utilities
  • Monitor and analyze security data
  • Produce and present security reports for management
  • Troubleshoot and document security incidents
  • Facilitate outside audits with respect to information security
  • Take part in red-team and offensive security exercises where applicable
  • Advocate Security best practices throughout Innowatts

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Solid understanding of global data security compliance regulations (SOC2/3, ISO 27001, NIST)
  • Must have extensive experiential knowledge of EU Global Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
  • Experience with public-cloud development and configuration best practices and security compliance
  • In-depth technical knowledge of security engineering, application security, computer and network security, authentication, security protocols and applied cryptography
  • Experience using SAST and DAST tools, vulnerability management platforms, security analytics platforms, penetration testing frameworks, cloud-based IDS/IPS tools & techniques
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • CISSP certification highly desired
