About the Position

The Director of Marketing will be based in Houston, TX and report to the Chief Revenue Officer.  This role will lead the Company’s overall marketing initiatives.  A successful candidate will focus on developing targeted leads, initiating contact with inbound prospects, and design, execute, and manage a variety of work streams to further engage leads, prospects, and the broader ecosystem of investors, and strategic partners.  Key Skills & Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily tactical tasks to ensure the Marketing initiatives run smoothly; this role would help us achieve our business goals through building strong marketing campaigns
  • Own and implement the Company’s marketing activities with buy-in from the leadership team
  • Coordinate with the Sales and Leadership teams to create advertising and marketing material (e.g. DRIP marketing, newsletters, sales collateral
  • For this role, you should understand the full marketing mix and be familiar with ways to analyze market research and customers’ behavior.
  • Possesses superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Prioritizes competing objectives and manages time with skill
  • Good facility with MS Office suite (specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with content writing and content management systems
  • Contributing to overall content strategy with innovative ideas and solutions
  • Emphasizes an incredible attention to detail and is capable of multi-tasking and coordinating several projects at once
  • Possesses the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Displays accountability, consistently meets deadlines, communicates proactively, results-oriented and prioritizes keeping commitments
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing order to chaos
  • Has direct marketing experience (in-house, agency, network)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Retail and Regulated market segments
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative suite, Hubspot, WordPress, and PowerPoint
  • Manage SEO, maintain WordPress website, execute new content updates, maintain integration with CRM, coordinate resolution of technical issues with tech team/agency
  • Coordinate events and Innowatts’ involvement at industry conferences and events (preparation, registrations, logistics, in-conference coordination)
  • Digital marketing – support design and execution of digital and social outreach campaigns
  • Support content development: refinement of brand and product collateral, manage central repository of brand and product marketing assets
  • Coordination of local BU resources to assigned tasks, support presentation development, ongoing measurement of marketing ROI/leadership and BOD updates, support development and maintenance of marketing calendar

Travel Required

Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 20% of the time and on a domestic/international basis).
