About the Position

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the planning, budgeting, coordinating, and directing of resources and activities involved in the delivery of software systems for commercial customers. The Project Manager will join our Implementations team to own all aspects of project delivery. They will be expected to complete multi-phase client deliverables with minimal guidance and oversight and improve the productivity of the overall team beyond assigned client deliverables.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

  • Manage scope, schedule and budget of medium size, multi-phase software deliveries
  • Own all aspects of project delivery
  • Supervise, mentor and provide performance feedback to internal resources
  • Model attributes of a leader when interacting all internal team members and clients
  • Accurately estimate work effort on large projects
  • Supervise time tracking and billing
  • Create Services Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks
  • Improve upon and/or create new project templates as appropriate
  • Work within cross-functional teams to solve complex problems outside of one’s core expertise

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience working as a team member of software delivery implementations
  • 4+ years of professional experience independently leading medium to large scale software delivery implementations
  • Proven execution on all aspects of a software delivery life cycle and clear understanding of more than one type of delivery methodology
  • Proven execution in a SAAS delivery environment
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to effectively translate complex business needs into a software delivery plan and to document and communicate that plan
  • Demonstrates natural leadership skills (provides value-added insight without prompting; coordinates/facilitates meetings, discussions and project efforts without establishing formal assignment or hierarchy)
  • Proven ability to leverage other team members to accomplish tasks
  • Capable of working autonomously to desired outcomes of a project
