The Director of Account Management will be the ‘face’ of Innowatts for clients and a leader ensuring product delivery, product adoption, client business value creation and account growth. This person will be a people manager leading individual or regional functions within the Global Client Success team (e.g. New client implementation, existing client portfolio etc) engaging with key client executives and decision makers with a strategic business approach. The person will have the accountability to ensure all on-boarding and ongoing client needs are fulfilled effectively liaising with other internal teams including implementation, product management, product engineering, and customer operation. This role will also provide the critical feedback to R&D and product development through the voice of the customers. The role’s performance will be measured based on timely monetization of all signed client contracts and customer retention.


  • Build strong relationship with clients, communicate in proactive, timely, professional and respectful manner
  • Understand client’s strategic objectives with a strong focus on deploying Innowatts product to meet or exceed client objectives
  • Service as the voice of the customers across Innowatts to advocate for your customers needs and requirements
  • Partner with the Innowatts’ sales team to support customer contracting and ensure contractual commitments can be met
  • Ensure all client delivery milestones are met according to the contracted scope of work
  • Manage the contracts with all assigned clients to ensure compliance with contractual commitments by Innowatts and the client
  • Create processes and tools for day-to-day operational tasks to provide transparency and efficient execution of client deliverables
  • Manage recurring revenue for assigned clients
  • Provide an uncomplicated and seamless experience to client by addressing their requests and resolving issues
  • Ensure 100% adoption of Innowatts’ platform
  • Create internal feedback loop with product teams to continuously improve product
  • Understand client licensing agreements and deliverables with ability to monetize contracted revenue on time
  • Work with Innowatts finance team to ensure that contracted revenue is monetized on time
  • Identify new opportunities for growing a client in line with their strategic goals and work with sales to convert those into contracts
  • Lead and manage functional or regional teams within the Global Client Success team


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Preferable to have a Degree in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science)
  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 7 years of experience in client facing, operations, project management roles.
  • Previous experience with utilities and energy providers is preferred
  • Project management experience with analytics solution
  • Strong problem-solving skills and modular thinking
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is flexible and goal oriented
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Startup experience with a product company a plus
  • Industry Experience preferred: regulated utility, municipal utility or Retail Energy Provider
