With the rapid growth of electric vehicle (EV) adoption, the utility sought a data-driven solution to identify and mitigate overloaded transformers caused by increased behind-the-meter (BTM) EV charging. The objective was to build a baseline of current EV charging behavior to inform strategic planning and reduce grid vulnerability.
