David serves as the CEO of Innowatts. He has over 25 years IoT and Energy industry experience and his career has ranged from enterprise IT, product development, research & innovation and new business start-ups. Prior to joining Innowatts, he established and led Intel’s Global Energy Solutions business, delivering machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions to customers worldwide. David holds several patents and sits on a number of advisory boards.

Akhlak Ahmed is the co-founder and Chief Analytics Officer at Innowatts. Akhlak is responsible for managing client expectations with a primary focus on onboarding new clients, implementing new product features, and managing the day to day operational work streams for the over 52 million smart meter customer base.

Akhlak has more than 20 years of professional experience in analytics, big data, product development, statistical modeling, and data interpretation while working for several Fortune 500 companies in the US. At Innowatts, he successfully established the Innowatts Lab of data scientists engaged in cutting edge technology in the Utility space.

Akhlak holds a B.Sc. in Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and an MBA from Oklahoma State University.

Zohar leads Innowatts’ product commercialization efforts with a specific focus on driving the widespread adoption of the Innowatts AI enabled SaaS platform. Zohar’s primary goal is to enable our clients leverage Innowatts solutions to effectively tackle the challenges arising from the increasing prevalence of Behind The Meter Distributed Energy Resources, along with weather volatility and behavioral trends. These factors, in turn, impact Grid Reliability, Supply Management, and Sustainability throughout the energy value chain.

Zohar has spent over 20 years in the energy industry starting with one of the first Electricity Retail Energy Providers and then gaining experience across companies in Electricity Retail, Wholesale, Smart Grid, Storage and Advanced Data services. Zohar holds a BSBA in Finance & Marketing and an MBA.

Sid Dhar, ‘SD’, brings over 15 years of experience in Energy, Finance, Product, and Technology to his role as VP of Product Management at Innowatts. Sid is responsible for driving and delivering Innowatts’ roadmap of innovative AI powered products with a customer-first mindset, leveraging data and technology to assist clients in achieving their sustainability, affordability, and reliability goals.

SD holds a B.S. degree in Electrical and Communications Engineering from the University of Mumbai, an M.S. degree in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University, and an Executive Certification in Product Management from the Kellogg School of Management.

Keith Ellis brings over 20 years of technology experience to his role as VP of Engineering at Innowatts. Keith is responsible for driving the technology roadmap and technical delivery of Artificial Intelligence (AI) products and Platform-as-a-Product capabilities for the Innowatts Platform.

Keith holds a B.Sc. in Technology, an M.Sc. in Computing – Artificial Intelligence, and an M.Sc. in Technology & Innovation Management. Immediately prior to Innowatts Keith led a number of Intel Labs projects under the European Union funded FP7 and H2020 programs. These projects were focused on the domains of Smart Cities, Energy Positive Neighbourhoods, and the Internet of Things. Keith is the author / co-author of numerous patents and publications.
